All students and employees of the University of Zurich were equipped with Microsoft 365 (approx. 45'000 people). All students and staff members can use teams and be added to events.
External persons from other organizations can be added by entering their mail address. However, this requires that this person has a Microsoft account with teams and/or Skype for Business (SfB). In addition, the organisation of the external person must allow its members to contact other organisations with teams/SfB (there are organisations that do not allow this).
External people who do not have a Microsoft account with teams and/or Skype for Business can be added as guests. Corresponding instructions are available on the following video.
External persons from other organizations and guests who have access to teams and other Microsoft cloud services at UZH must also set up multifactor authentication.
