AI Tools and Services
The Central IT Department continuously evaluates the use of AI solutions for the members of the university in light of UZH’s IT security, data protection, and compliance requirements. This overview provides the current status of the various solutions. Solutions that have been approved and made available can be accessed via the UZH-Software Portal or the ZI Service Catalog.
Members of the University of Zurich (UZH) must always use AI tools responsibly and with due consideration. The AI Guidelines provide support .
How to choose the right tool
- Determine the confidentiality level of the information used with the AI according to the information classification guidelines (in German).
- Select a provided AI tool with the appropriate confidentiality level from the table.
- Read the information sheet and comply with the guidelines.
