Interactive Courses in Hybrid Seminar Rooms

Several rooms at UZH are specially equipped for hybrid teaching formats. They enable interactive participation both on site and online.

Lecturers use Zoom or Microsoft Teams on their own computers, which are connected via HDMI and USB cables to room cameras, projectors, room microphones, and speakers.

Important Information for Hosting

Good preparation and coordination are crucial for the success of an interactive hybrid event. Please note the following points:

  • Plan interaction: Define in advance how the groups on site and online should interact with each other.
  • Ensure moderation: Decide who will take questions from the chat and from the room.
  • Information for participants: Inform those present that they may be recorded by the installed cameras. For more information, see the UZH video regulations  .
  • Technical support: The faculties are responsible for first-level support, in particular for setting up, testing, and providing assistance during the event.
