Switching from an Existing Zoom Account to the Campus License
If you already use a Zoom account (free version or individual license) with your UZH email address, you can easily switch it to the University of Zurich campus license.
Sign in with Your UZH Email Address
- Open https://uzh.zoom.us .
- Sign in using your UZH email address.
Note: Login is done via Single Sign-On (SSO), similar to Microsoft Teams.
Confirm the Invitation to the Campus Account
- After signing in, the following message will appear:
"Become a member of the University of Zurich’s Zoom account." - Click «Join the account.»
- Then sign in with SSO to complete the switch.
Note on Existing Subscriptions
If you currently have a paid Zoom subscription, the remaining balance will be refunded on a prorated basis until the cancellation date.
