Leaving UZH?

When you leave UZH, your authorization to use UZH Microsoft 365 licenses will end.
To ensure that you can continue to access your personal data and avoid error messages caused by stored login information, there are a few steps you should take before you leave. The following instructions will help you back up your data and properly disconnect your devices from UZH.

Back up your data

Back up your personal data stored in OneDrive, SharePoint, or Teams. 

Back up your BitLocker recovery key

Save your BitLocker recovery key before your UZH account is deactivated. 

Disconnect your devices from UZH

Disconnect your devices from the UZH Microsoft 365 organization to avoid error messages after you leave. 

Sign out of Microsoft 365 applications

Sign out of your Microsoft 365 apps on all devices before your account is deactivated.
