Private calls

Private use of the university telephone facilities for occasional, brief use is permitted. However, private calls must be kept to a minimum so that the lines remain free for professional matters.

Private telephone calls on the fixed network no longer have to be declared with an asterisk (*).

International calls made through the switchboard are also covered by this regulation, as they are also charged to the corresponding cost centre. A separate allocation to the employee is not possible.
